Ductwork, Dryer Vent and Chimney Care for Western Burlington County, NJ
Burlington County is the largest county in New Jersey by land area, and the 2020 census counted 461,860 people there, a record for the county. From Cherry Hill, AMG Duct Cleaning crosses Pennsauken Creek into four of its western townships: Mount Laurel, Moorestown, Evesham and Maple Shade.

Burlington County was the seat of government for the Province of West Jersey before the two Jerseys joined in 1702, and it moved its county seat from Burlington to Mount Holly in 1793. Its 40 municipalities stretch from the Delaware River across the Pine Barrens to the tidal estuaries near Great Bay. The four townships served from Cherry Hill sit on the developed western edge, where Route 38, Route 70, Route 73, Interstate 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike cross, and Evesham among them is the county's most populous town.
Housing on this edge of the county splits four ways. Moorestown keeps a Main Street historic district of 351 contributing buildings from 1720 to 1940. Mount Laurel's housing more than doubled in the 1980s and kept growing through the 1990s, and a quarter of it is townhouses or other attached units. Evesham's farms gave way to housing developments from the 1950s on, with the fastest growth in the 1970s and 1980s, and Maple Shade, where about half of households rent, had its booms in the 1950s and the 1970s.
Moorestown's Main Street and the older houses
Houses in Moorestown's historic core were built for fireplaces, stoves and boilers, and central air came later through closets and attics. Air duct repair seals and insulates the attic runs that retrofit left behind, and air duct installation adds the upstairs return such houses tend to lack. Their brick chimneys often carry a fireplace flue and a heating flue side by side; chimney cleaning shows the state of the tile, and chimney repair closes what weather has opened at the crown and the joints.
Under the township's 2025 historic preservation ordinance, exterior changes to buildings in the protected stretch of Main Street and Chester Avenue go to the Historic Preservation Commission before a permit is issued. A new vent hood or a different chimney cap on one of those buildings is planned around that review.
Townhouses and attic systems in Mount Laurel and Evesham
Both townships built most of their present homes between the 1970s and the 1990s, and townhouses are a large share: a quarter of Mount Laurel's housing and about a fifth of Evesham's. An upstairs laundry whose duct climbs to a roof cap is common, and so is a second-floor system in the attic fed by flexible runs that sag with summer heat and storage trips.
Dryer vent cleaning works those runs from both ends, with the association signing off where the roof is shared, and dryer vent installation reroutes the ones that run longer than the dryer allows. Kings Grant, the lake community of roughly two thousand acres in Evesham, and the Marlton Lakes area farther south add summer humidity that the coil and the drain pan feel first.
Maple Shade's rentals and apartment complexes
About half of Maple Shade households rent, and fewer than half its homes are detached houses. Apartment complexes with shared laundry rooms or stacked closet dryers, and heat pumps tucked into hall closets, set the pattern, and the owner or property manager is usually the one booking.
Commercial dryer vent cleaning for a complex runs building by building, with each run and hood logged for the office. Air duct cleaning inside a unit reaches the return grille, the supply ducts and the face of the coil, and the plenum gets sealed where it leaks.
Pennsauken Creek, the Rancocas and the July 2004 storm
The South Branch of Pennsauken Creek forms the line with Camden County, the North Branch leaves Strawbridge Lake in Moorestown, and Parkers Creek drains eastern Mount Laurel toward the Rancocas. In July 2004 a storm the state's dam task force called a thousand-year event flooded the Rancocas, Cooper River and Pennsauken Creek basins, and 45 dams were topped, damaged or failed, several of them in Evesham.
Basements that took water then, and lower levels near these streams now, show it at the coil, the pan and the ducts laid through them. Mold treatment and removal takes growth off ductwork and HVAC equipment only, after the dampness is under control, and HVAC UV light installation gives a chronically wet coil a lamp for the months between cleanings.
Reaching Burlington County from Cherry Hill
Pennsauken Creek is all that separates our Cherry Hill base from Maple Shade, Mount Laurel and Evesham, and Moorestown sits one township farther out along Route 38. Visits in association communities are set to the community's rules, and rentals are arranged with the manager and the tenant.
Burlington County callers reach the Cherry Hill office 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Saturday. A veteran owned company, licensed and insured, handles every visit, and the estimate that follows the walk-through is free.

Questions and answers
Which Burlington County towns does AMG's Cherry Hill location serve?
Mount Laurel, Moorestown, Evesham and Maple Shade have their own pages here. If you live in a nearby Burlington County town that is not listed, call and we will say whether a visit is possible.
Is Marlton a separate town from Evesham?
No. Marlton is a community inside Evesham Township, and most maps and road signs say Marlton rather than Evesham. The Evesham page covers Marlton, Kings Grant and the rest of the township.
Our Mount Laurel association wants paperwork before any roof work. Is that a problem?
No. Send the association's requirements with your booking, and we supply the documents it asks for before the visit. Work inside the unit, such as cleaning the dryer run, usually goes ahead on the owner's say.
Our Moorestown basement stays damp after heavy rain. Is that a duct problem or a house problem?
Mostly a house problem that the ducts can spread. A return in a damp basement carries that air through every room, and a coil or pan that stays wet grows what you smell. The dampness gets fixed first, then we deal with the system.
How do we book a visit in Burlington County?
Phone (856) 856-1409 or use the booking form. Crews are out 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Saturday, and estimates cost nothing.
